custom pole mounted and wall mounted shelving solutions with a
white oak finish for the 2006 Idea House built on the property
of
Sunset Magazine. The Idea House is based on a modular
design built with structural insulated panels (SIPs) that are
assembled on site.
Chad DeWitt,
the interior designer for the 2006 Sunset Magazine’s Celebration
Idea House came
up with three distinct wall designs for entertainment, work
space and bookshelves with base cabinets. All of the components
for the three walls were shipped ready to assemble direct from
ISS to the Idea House at Sunset in Menlo Park. The open shelving design of ISS Designs is a perfect
match for the modern home’s flowing spaces.
Over forty
thousand people toured the Idea House from May to June 2006.
The entire home will be moved to its permanent location two
