In order to help their guests look and feel good, Urban Waxx wants their space and their products to look as impressive and welcoming as possible. And a big part of that is displaying their products on state-of-the-art shelves that are not only reliable, but that look good too.
Our design consultant Ryan Casenillo had the pleasure of working with the team at Urban Waxx to help bring their shelving vision to life at their ninth location. After already using Modern Shelving shelves at their previous eight locations, the project was a straightforward one as there wasn’t a lot of new design required. 
For this shop, the Urban Waxx team was looking for a similar design to their previous shops, but with a few small tweaks. They wanted a corner shelving unit with an “all white combination,” as opposed to the satin hardware and white laminate shelves combination they had used previously. Casenillo worked with Urban Waxx to bring the custom design to life according to their vision and measurements.
After sending a mockup, the team at Urban Waxx responded: “The design looks great, Ryan. I am ready to purchase.” 
Because Urban Waxx was already utilizing Modern Shelving in their other locations, the ordering process was quick and seamless. Once the shelves arrived, they got everything installed and in working order.
The shelves span the entrance of Urban Waxx and house a wide range of products. The white shelves against the white walls make the products pop and give the space a clean and inviting look. 
“This was my first store project in which I was the one who talked with the store owner, and I am glad that it went smoothly,” says Casenillo. “The usual project that I handle here in Modern Shelving most of the time are residential custom designs.”
